With us you will spend your wellness and active vacations at the foot of the Matterhorn in the southwest of Switzerland - in the German-speaking part of the canton of Valais, where the Alps connect Switzerland and Italy.

In the quiet and centrally located wellness and family Resort La Ginabelle Zermatt, everyday life is far away and nature is close. In only 2 minutes you can reach the mountain railroad and the valley slope is also only 2 minutes away from the resort. You can reach the village center in less than 10 minutes with a short walk. Zermatt offers a variety of activities. In summer for example the hiking area Sunnegga - Blauherd - Rothorn and in winter the Matterhorn Ski Paradise, one of the biggest and best skiing areas in the world. Here you can even ski all year round - in summer the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise is the highest snow sports area in Europe.

Reaching Zermatt by Car

Zermatt is car-free. You can drive as far as Täsch (5 km before Zermatt).

Parking options: You can park your car directly at the Täsch terminal garage. Alternatively, we recommend parking with our partner “Taxi Fredy” (+41 27 967 33 66). You may choose between a garage space or an outdoor parking space.
Onward travel to Zermatt: From Täsch, you can take the Matterhorn shuttle train, which runs every 20 minutes during the day. Tickets can be purchased on site. Alternatively, our partner “Taxi Fredy” (+41 27 967 33 66) will drive you to Zermatt. The journey takes about 10–15 minutes.

Arrival to Täsch by car

Coming from the north, drive via Basel - Bern - Spiez to the Lötschberg car transport in Goppenstein. Afterward taking the car transport, drive in the direction of Visp and later Täsch.
Coming from Geneva, drive to Visp and then follow the above route.
The same applies if you come from the south via Simplon, alternatively by car transport, to Visp.
Coming from the east we recommend, despite the fact that the route is often described differently due to different navigation systems, to drive via Zurich - Bern - Goppenstein instead of via Chur.

Reaching Zermatt by Train

The Matterhorn Gotthard Railway takes you through the Matter Valley directly to Zermatt on a cogwheel train. Enjoy breathtaking views on the one-hour journey from Visp to Zermatt.

Reaching Zermatt by Plane

The nearest airports are Zurich (ZRH), Geneva (GVA), and Milan-Malpensa (MXP). All three have excellent international connections. For your transfer to Zermatt, you have two options:

Take advantage of Switzerland’s outstanding rail network and enjoy the varied scenery. The train ride from any of these airports takes around 3.5 hours.
Our partner “Taxi Fredy” (+41 27 967 33 66) can pick you up directly at the airport and drive you to Zermatt. Enjoy the luxury of a private transfer without any changes.

Transfer from the taxi stand or Zermatt train station to the hotel

We will be happy to pick you up with our hotel taxi from the train station or taxi stand in Zermatt. Please inform us around 15 minutes before your arrival so we can pick you up on time. Our transfer service is available daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. From three nights onwards, this service is free of charge. For stays of fewer than three nights, a flat fee of CHF 10.– per trip is charged.
